Issue with page title after upgrade

The page title appears at the top of the page pushing the page's content down. (image 1)
I thought I could fix it easily by selecting "Remove Page Title Completely" in the backend but that doesn't work either. In fact, it removes "Forum" from my main menu bar but keeps the page title up top. (image 2)
I've checked in the back and the filter wp list pages option is turned on
The issue appeared after I upgraded WP to 3.6, the forum to 5.3, and Genesis to 2.0.
I've attached two screen shots so you can see what I mean.
Thanks for your assistance!

As far as I know this is something to do with Genesis. Mr Papa knows more about this (as a Genesis user). But here is a fix:
https://simple-press.com/suppo.....p-of-page/
I just don't know if that is a temporary fix or what until I ask him.

oh wow... misunderstood her problem in my email reply...
yes, that is a permanent fix... catch 22.. if we change the priority ourselves, we break some seo titles in other plugins... too many themes/pluigns doing it too many different ways...
just put it int the spFunctions.php and forget about it...
