I am not entirely sure if the simple-press plugin is causing this but this is my problem and I really need your help. When you go to my site: http://filamchw.org/interactiv.....ial-media/ and click on one of the thumbnails under Flickr Photos, you'll see the the border is literally broken. I was told by the developer of the plugin (advanced widget pack) that in my source code he can see that I have the jQuery ColorBox plugin code loaded twice. Once in the source code and also it is provided with the plugin.
Would you recommend me uninstalling the first instance of the color plugin (from simple-press) or uninstall the other instance of the color plugin (advanced widget pack).
Thanks,
Greggy
I am afraid that not only does SP NOT use or load the colorbox jQuery plugin - I had not even heard of it until I read your post! I only see it getting loaded once as well...
However - your site is throwing a lot of script errors and this is, I believe, a combination of the main jQuery library being loaded from the Google CDN (which SP does not support) and the use of the prototype script library which will conflict with the Google supplied jQuery library. This is a recipe for all sorts of scripting problems.
The basic problem is described in this Codex article: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-conflict/
I would suggest that the first step is to find out what is loading jQuery from Google and once changed to load from WP, it may be (and I stress 'may') that this will correct other issues.
