Hello!  I just purchased and installed Simple:Press 5 today.  I am getting the following error message after creating a new forum:  "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/enjoyt8/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/sp-api/sp-api-auths.php on line 71."

Please visit my website to view error:  http://enjoytheflo.com/forum/

Has anybody else seen this error?  Any and all help is much appreciated!

Thank you!

This was a fresh install? or upgrade?

can you try going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and try resetting the auths cache...

Hello!  I did the following: forum – toolbox – housekeeping and reset the auths cache

I am still receiving the message:

"Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/enjoyt8/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/sp-api/sp-api-auths.php on line 71"

This is a fresh install.  I have the MayaShop (themeforest.net) theme installed on my website (http://enjoytheflo.com/forum/).  Could this be causing the error?

Thanks!

wouldnt think so... it saying you dont have any permissions/auths... which does not make much sense...

have you  created at least one group (not usergroup) and one forum on forum - forums - manage groups and forums??  I dont see any on your site, but that could just be that you dont have them visible to guests...

Yes, I just created two groups with forums:

General Discussion -> Test

Surfing -> Test #2

I set the permissions to moderator for all users.

The Surfing group only shows and I get a 404 error when selecting the Test# 2 forum.

I only see the error message ("Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/enjoyt8/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/sp-api/sp-api-auths.php on line 71") when I am logged in as admin.

Thanks!

Have you assigned any user groups and permission sets to this forum? Saw the note about moderators but wasn't clear why you did.

Btw this is a warning not an error.

Can you go to forum - permissions - reset permissions and resetting?

On forum - integration - page and Permalink, try updating the permalink for the 404.

No caching plugins, right?

Hello!  I reset permissions and still get the warning messages throughout the forum and Wordpress dashboard.  Please take a look at the following screenshots: http://enjoytheflo.com/Simple_.....nshots.htm.

Thanks

I understood the issue...  just not why you are seeing it...

for any of those forums, if you click 'view forum permissions' what is shown?

can you look into your db?  using phpmyadmin or whatever you host gives you as db tool...  and see how many rows you have in the sfauths table?

When selecting Forum & Permissions the following warning messages appear on top aside from the other previous mentioned:

Warning - There are no usergroups with members that have permissions on forum: test This forum may only be visible to SP admins

Warning - There are no usergroups with members that have permissions on forum: Test #2 This forum may only be visible to SP admins

The sfauths table is showing 8 rows (View last screenshot: http://enjoytheflo.com/Simple_.....nshots.htm).

Thanks!
