Aaron: (1) Have you upgraded SP to 5.0.4? (2) have you changed the WP server time zone (WP Settings > General)? This should never be changed once set - and should, of course, be set when the site was first established.

So - apart from those questions can you explain exactly what you think the problem is? And can you explain that in terms of any new post you are seeing?

I have not.  Things are stable at this point so i'm going to hold off for now.  However, that said, do you have a page or document that states the updates/changes from 5.0.3 to 5.0.4?  Thanks

is a list of the changes...  in the wp updater will also be a changelog you can view before you actually click on upgrade... view the details...

but it included a security fix (hence the urging to upgrade) and a post time fix affecting a few users...
