Licensing – one site or more? and updates

Could you clarify the licensing agreement for the simple-press forum/plugins please?

Am I OK to use the plugins on 2 different websites? If so is it required that these sites are ‘owned’ by me? What about sites that are not owned by me?

Also, please clarify how the updates work…

What happens with updates, when a plugin is updated or if there is a forum update would I see a notification in the WP dashboard as with normal plugin updates? or would I see it in the forum options screen? Or would I just have to keep watch manually on this site as to when there might be updates? Then manually download (using my subscription login) and then upload?

Essentially it is you that has paid for your membership not the site. You are free to use SP on any site without membership. You are free to download and use paid for plugins etc., on any site you choose.

When updates to any SP plugins and/or themes you have active are available, they will show up in the WP update panel. This will continue to be the case after your membership has expired.
