I've limited the number of links people can post to deal with a certain spam attack however this causes problems for regular users who unintentionally post more than the set # of links by dumping them unceremoniously to the main page losing their post (often a very long one) in the process. Is there any way to change this behavior so instead it just gives a warning or something?
I can't replicate this I am afraid. With all testing so far it always returns to the post page with the post content intact and an appropriate message to the user.
So - can you reproduce this behaviour every time? If so there may be a script problem we need to investigate.

It looks like it may not be the links issue that's causing this behavior... I've tried narrowing down what may be causing it but I haven't come up with anything .. here's the discussion thread from my users (includes other issues people have reported since the upgrade, most due to server issues which I think were sorted out by my host) maybe something there will twig for you that I've overlooked. (Link removed at users request)
Sorry but that is a LOT or posts and I really do have limited time,. Can you point me at one or two in particular.
By the way - are you sure you have enough php memory defined? You are running 25 posts to a page load there which is a bit heavy - especially if there were lots of images, long posts etc. Would slow down mobile use as well considerably I would have thought...
