oh and you are running yoast seo too... why???  they really are not complimentary... one should be sufficient...

but on yoast, make sure you have the rewrite ugly permalinks option turned off...

Well, I don't know......I'm probably over obsessed with SEO - I'm just worried I might lose some of my traffic or have to go back through all of my posts to optimize for the other fields I wasn't using before....just a headache.  Do you think I'll lose traffic as a result? I've just started to get some great organic traffic and I'm on the first page for specific search terms....

I do have the rewrite ugly links off - it has a nice, this is not recommended most of the time note by it, I tend to follow the notes and recommendations because I'm so new.....

I actually like yoast better - offers A LOT more options (almost too much)......should I ditch the all in one and just keep the yoast?

Dang these choices! 🙂

but they all try to do the same thing...  and could be cancelling out (dont know that for sure) or just being repetitive... your best bet (my personal opinion) is to pick the one you want and go with it...  since you picked Genesis, I would try that and see what happens... if you wanted to add another, pick one... again,my opinion but I can find multiple sites out there that say dont have mulitple seo plugins/functionality...

did you try the aioseo change? and the yoast change I suggested?

Ok, so, I think I should turn AIOSEO off per your suggestion.... Genesis has some built-in functionality, but not all that Yoast does....and I realized I'm really using Yoast more anyhow. I already have the ugly permalink unclicked....

That last post didn't post like it did in preview....so that was no help, I'm sure.

Yes, it does....it was probably needed and will help in the long run.....I'm just experiencing a little separation anxiety as I've always operated under the more is more method.

Thank you, kindly, for all of your effort this evening!!! I really appreciate it and am glad I can now use the forum!

Hey, though - one last question - what do you think about the rss? Will people using chrome be unable to subscribe?

no, they should be fine...  do people really subscribe to rss feeds in a browser?  that's what readers are for...

I can try to stop by later with chrome and see what is up...
