When I log out on my forum and then hit the back button I am still logged in.
Then when I click log out again I get a blank screen with a message stating:
You are attempting to log out of Rapha Journey. Do you really want to log out?
That seems like a bit of a problem. Is there a setting I have missed that will fix this?
I am not 100% sure if this is true for all browsers but I suspect that these days it is.
When you click on the back button the page is not reloaded from the website in question but is reloaded from the browsers cache. This explains the behaviour you see. if, after reloading the previous page from history you go on to perform a normal page load you will see that the actual status is correct.
Unless anyone knows differently I am unaware that this can be changed. It is just the way the browsers work.

Thanks for clarifying. I think if I change my logout redirect to land on the Community Forum page instead of my homepage that will help.
I just tried to change that though and it is not working. Everytime I log out I am redirected to my sites homepage. Does this take a while to take effect?
you control where you are go after logging out... see forum - components - login and registration...
are you saying that after you log out (which is controlled and done by wp btw... not simple press) that you are still logged in?
if so, suggest you check your other topic to see if there is a wp issue with cookies... we really dont have anything to do with logging in and out....

I have already set where I want to be redirected to in the forum options menu, which is http://www.raphajourney.com/me.....y-forum.
This redirect is working for two of the three accounts I have tried it on. The third, which is also the account that is randomly logging out, redirects me to my site's homepage.
I understand that SimplePress uses the wordpress users and login. I looked at my other post and the comment made by Mr. Papa:
any caching?
any blocking of cookies? wp uses cookies for logins so you must allow them in your browser… do all of your urls match your wp cookie domain? ie consistent usage of www or not…
I am not sure how to check any of these things. But like I said it is working for all my other logins but I have one that isn't which makes me concerned that my members will have trouble.
you would know whether or not you installed a caching plugin or server caching...
any membership plugins? they may also be doing a redirect on logout...
as to cookie domain, are all urls on your site consistent with use of www or not?
