Logout of entire site

I am noticing that when users logout of the forum, they are sent back to the site's home page, but are still logged in to the actual WP site.  Is this the normal flow?  I would like for the logging in and out to apply to the forum and site in tandem.  Any ideas?

There IS only a single, site-wide, login status. So my best guess is you are using some sort of page caching plugin outside of the forum.

You are absolutely correct.  Host Gator is basically requiring that this site use a caching plugin...so, I'm not really sure how to get around this.  I am NOT caching the forum page.

They are? Odd - that is the second time I have heard this about Hostgator this week. Yet we use them with no such insistence...
