ok, must be me...I remember seeing the pin option, but I cannot for the life of me find it anywhere, not the forum tools..maybe I did something wrong....

its there... for admins... so topic view, hover over post... icon appears in upper left... clicking on it brings up a list... typically, pin this post is third item (plugins can affect order)...

thanks....so simple. i feel like a newb.... ( i get asked many similar questions in my industry- know the feeling). So, what does the Feature option do?

feature option?? do you have the featured topics and post plugin running? guessing so... but not using?
it allows you to have a list of feature topics and/or posts... shows up like a recent posts list... but its topics or posts that you want to feature... using the forum tools is one way to add a post or topic to the feature list...
