I’m loving Simple Press, having just transferred DWP Examination Forum to SP from PHP.BB, thanks a lot to the developers
Just a few things I’d like advice on though…
Post Ratings
I’ve got post ratings installed and activated but can’t see any way for users to rate a post, (or am I going blind), how do I get them to show?
Social Sharing
I notice that this forum has social sharing buttons at the top of each post – How can I get them to show on our forum?
Merge Threads
Is there any way for Admin or Mod’s to merge or split threads, which is ideal for when you get double posts on the same subject or a thread goes well off topic yet the new topic deserves a thread of it’s own.
And
Insert Media
Media, (such as YouTube video’s), show in edit mode, (although not active), but disappear when the post is made, any suggestions there?
Other than the above, (so far), as I have said, I think SP is brilliant.

post ratings... they have a sort of double enabling requirement... since they can be individually enabled on each forum and must be globally enabled to pick the rating type, after globally enabling, you need to edit each forum you want to have ratings and enable it... maybe some day here we can add an enable all button...

merge threads - not currently possible but on our short list...
media - how are you inserting? just paste in the url to the video... dont try to embed... or if you embed, make sure you dont use an iframe as that will be stripped... youtube offers an object method too...
