Managing subscriptions and email settings?

I just installed my forum and made a post. A user registered and replied to my post but I didn't get an email. So I went to try to find where to manage my thread subscriptions and I can't even find that. Is there somewhere that I can manage my email notification settings and manage which threads I'm subscribed to? Can users do this from the main part of the forums somewhere?

Now that I'm looking at your forum I see the buttons. But they don't show up on my forum at all...

You need to install the subscription SP plugin. See the download page.

I have added the subscribe plugin and also see the option to "auto subscribe on" so when users post it will automatically subscribe them. What I can't find is where they can change their subscribe settings. If I turn auto subscribe on it should set it as new user default but they have the option to change this right? Where does the user go to change their subscribe settings?

Each user can make this decision on their SP profile panel - Options - Post Options.

I've installed the Subscriptions plugin but the Subscribe button is not appearing anywhere like it does here in the SP forum.

I can't find any settings for it.  The only plugin option I can find is the "Auto subscribe members to all topics they post in" on the Options-Member Settings page.

Ahhhh, thanks, Steve... that was it.  I forget that the permissions options can expand when adding plugins!
