Can I ask what is the largest number of concurrent users (concurrent as in actually using the site at the same time) for any simple-press site that you know of?

Well there's a question! All I can tell you - as it shows down the bottom - the most this site has ever had at one time was 444. What it was like to use I have no idea as I was not one of them when it happened!

If the question is how many concurrent users can it support then the answer to that is as many as your hosting resources will allow. It's a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' question.

I can also add that we have had one user report over a thousand users at the same time...  they had multi millions of members...
