I can confirm that this is, actually, a tinyMCE issue of some sort. Afraid it’s not necessarily going to be easy to sort. At least that is my initial impression. ☹️

I know it is not ideal but a temporary workaround could be to use the ‘page’ mode for profile display instead of the ‘popup’ mode. That functions as expected.

…you mention that you do not use the font resizer plugin…

Me?

(FYI: We do use Font Resize SP plugin. Deactivation did not resolve issue.)

If you actually deactivate the font resize plugin, with the exception of the profile popup, do the other items then work as expected?

Actually…

1. Font Resize Deactivated + No Script Cache (Disabled) = No Profile Pop-up

2. Font Resize Deactivated + Script Cache Enabled = No Profile Pop-up AND Admin Queue Broken, Unable to Reply or Quote/Reply, No Admin Links pop-up, No sp_tools pop-up

3. Font Resize Activated + Script Cache Enabled = Font Resize deisplays but does not function, No Profile Pop-up AND Admin Queue Broken, Unable to Reply or Quote/Reply, No Admin Links pop-up, No sp_tools pop-up

4. Font Resize Activated + Script Cache Disabled = Font Resize works, Admin Queue Works, sp_tools toolbox pops up, Admin Links box does pop up…and, no profile pop up.

a temporary workaround could be to use the ‘page’ mode for profile display

In addition, I will need to keep our script cache disabled for now. Just for fun, enabled script cache with profile page setting (instead of pop-up) and all other symptoms returned.

I presume this will add overhead to each page load?

Hope this helps!

No – it wont add overhead – except for the profile page..

So – other symptoms are quite clearly unconnected and unusual for you to have such issues. At the moment the other symptoms are unique to you so – usual first question…. has anything else changed?
