Members List on different website page

Hi,

Probably an odd question.

I have the "members list" plugin running on one of my website pages. Now, i'm having to update that when new members are added. Is there any way to display a user group from my sp forums on another web page? This would allow me to get rid of the members list plugin and semi-automate the page. I sort of assumed this isn't possible due to the dynamic nature of sp but thought it was worth asking!

Thanks

not sure I understand what you are asking... there is already a separate page within the forum for a members page/list...

http://www.lsf-squad.com/forum/members

you can even customize what information you show there...

is that what you are looking for?

Yes thanks but I would like it on a different page, and have it so anyone can see whether logged on or not..

I guess as a work around I can redirect my members page to http://www.lsf-squad.com/forum/members. If I set guest privileges so that they can view the members list - Is it possible to only show one or two user groups on the members list? I think I currently have 5 user groups...

You can set it up so guests and everyone can see that members page... Its just a permission to view members list...

you can also explicitly say which usergroups you want to show... in your spMembersView.php template file in your sp theme, look for something like:

if (sp_has_member_groups('usergroup', 'id', 'asc', 15, true)) {

and change it to

if (sp_has_member_groups('usergroup', 'id', 'asc', 15, false, '3,8,9,10')) {

where 3, 8, 9, 10 would be example usergroup ids to show... you can get the ids you want from the manage usergroups admin panel...
