regarding new test site, it does NOT have the same problem...  the forum tools open as expected..  but you have NOT made the code change as detailed in post 9 of this topic...

will investigate on the other site too...

On the other site, there is two posts that the user you provided could delete...

http://friskyttarna.eu/forum/s.....et/#p47960

http://friskyttarna.eu/forum/n.....iv/#p37335

The first one gets the the forum tools correctly and I can delete the post...  The second one I do not get the forum tools...  and the user in the second one cannot delete their own posts...  it appears to me that the user does not have the same permissions on the two different forums...

but I do not have access to the simple press admin area to verify this with this account...

Hi Steve,

Sorry about the missed code change at the test site, it´s done now.

However, the issue remain. The user can click "delete" and the post disapear, but after reseting the page, the post is back and a error message appear.

Hi Steve,

It´s correct that users dont have the permission to delete posts in the "Nyheter" (News) forum. But that´s the only forum with restricted permissions.

Yes you get the forum tools and you can click the delete button, but if you do, the exakt same thing happens as the images in my post above shows you.

Cheers

I am not sure what you mean... I just deleted the post

http://friskyttarna.eu/forum/s.....et/#p47960

and its gone... deleting it worked fine and perfectly with the forum tools...

but maybe we have to work on communication again...

we have been talking completely about deleting the post using the forum tools....  the button you highlighted is not part of the forum tools..  its completely different button and set of logic...  so of course, not something that I have been testing based on the discussion...

I will have to run some tests using that other delete button vice the forum tools we have been talking about...

incidentally, looks like same cut and paste error with that button...

sp-topic-view-functions.php, around line 1294 change killpostpopster to killpostposter for the standalone delete button...

Gosh, i am very sorry Steve.

English is not my native language as you know. I actualy never tried to delete any post with the popup/forum tool until 2 minutes ago, and as you stated it works.

It´s the delete button that´s the problem. Both at the test and main site.
