Support Forum
I recently uploaded new members from my email list using a plugin and it went fine. Now the issue is that, the forum stats does not recognise the new members or any other new wordpress registration. I have 758 members but the forum stat reads 205.
Inside the admin area, the forum/users area shows I have 758 members, but on the forum stats, on the front page it reads 205. What could be wrong and how do I correct this?
how did you 'upload' new users??? if it was not using the wp api such that a standard hook telling plugins that a new user was created, we wont know about the addition... look at your db... compare the tables users and sfmembers... do they have same number of rows?
also, the stats are cached, so if it worked, it will take at least an hour to show up...

I dont know what u mean by same rows but when I check on the phpmyadmin database i see wp_users having 26 rows and the spfmember having 26 rows. Else what should I look for?
I found this on the error log:
file: /simple-press/sp-api/sp-api-plugins.php
line: 694
function: filemtime
Warning | filemtime() [function.filemtime]: stat failed for /ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js
Does it have any connection to the stats not showing
What about the question I asked??? did you compare wp users table to sfmembers table???

nothing to do with stats... but something on your site, wp theme or other plugin, is violating the wp api and incorrectly loading jquery from offsite... large potential for other issues doing that...
see: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-conflict/
but more importantly regarding stats is answer to my question...

so does wp cron work on your server? is the sp_stats_cron running on your site? you can check the latter by looking at forum - toolbox - cron inspector... is sph_stats_cron listed in the running crons?
you can try restarting... in the add cron, leave next run blank, add interval as hourly, and hook as sph_stats_cron... and submit...
but if wp cron is not working, our crons wont either...

Look at what? We do believe you when you say your stats have not caught up. Not sure what there is to look at...
Ok - so you say WP Cron is working perfectly. May I ask - just for the record - how you tested that. And did you try a manual run of the sp_stats_cron task?

I haven't been able to solve this error. Let me repeat..
New registrations show on the registered members, but they do not add up on the total members stats.
When I go to:
mysite.com/wpdashboard/forum/users
I see all the wp members.
But when I go to forum frontend, the total number of members there is not correct. For example, I have about total 758 members, but on the forum front end, it shows, 205.
Thats the problem. I was meaning if you could check out my site dashboard and see for urself if I am doing anything wrongly.
Thanks
