Hi guys.

I have a problem with the permissions and I do not understand why...

The members belongs to different groups and there are some forums that cannot be seen by some of these groups.

Some of these people used to be part of a certain group, then they have been moved to another one. At this point, they should be able to see some forums which are not accessible to other groups. But they cannot see the forums.

What can I do to fix the issue?

Thanks a lot.

Stefano

Have you checked through the obvious? (1) the users are 100% in this alternative user group? (2) That the permissions you are using for that user group are set as you want them and (3) that the specific user group/permission set combination has been assigned to the correct forums?

Andy, thank you for replying.

Yes I did. Some members can see the forum, some others can't.

Pretty much, they were members of group A. I created a forum where the group B has full permissions. I moved some members from group A to group B and some of them cannot see the new forum.

can you go to the profile of one of these users (as admin you can edit any user profile)?  and then take a screenshot of their permissions for the forum in question...  and post it here....

Steve, I think I fixed it!

Now I am waiting for those members to let me know.

For some reason, they had like NO PERMISSIONS at all!

Now everything seems OK, all the permissions are green. They were red before.

Thank you very much for giving me the idea!wink
