I have a member who wants to see who else is a member so she can contact them.
Seems like a great idea!Does anything exist? Is it maybe a plugin?
Thanks!
And happy holiday!

its included in core and shown by default… see the members button? users will need permission to view the members list…
I was going to ask about the memberships list!
I’d like to make sure that the list is not shown to any casual observer – like guests (for one thing, I believe the membership list may be being used a source for the WordPress Brute Force Attack going on my site – but that’s another matter being dealt with
)
So, I’d like to hide the membership list – but the Wiki (http://wiki.simple-press.com/administration/options-panel/member-settings/) refers to a ‘Display Membership Lists’ option that is not apparent in my installation of S:P (5.2.6).
I eventually found out how to do this based upon Mr Papa’s comment above: ‘users will need permission to view the members list…’ and found this on the Permissions / Manage Permissions Sets menu.
Yay for intuition!
Do you need volunteers to lend a hand updating the Wiki?
thanks for the update. first, the wiki deal with version 4.x… If you want the docs for version 5.x, you need to be looking at http://codex.simple-press.com
but there are still holes there too… and yes, we are always looking for help updating the codex! ![]()
