Support Forum
This is more of an appeal to any other user who may be using WP eMember membership plugin in conjunction with SP5.x rather than a direct support question to the support team, although if you know......
I am using WP eMember as a membership plugin and I am very happy with it except for one thing. There appears to be some disconnect between the membership plugin and the forum login status which I think uses Word Press to determine if someone is logged in or not.
There is a widget for the membership plugin that reports that the user is logged in, whereas WP and SP has other ideas.
This would indicate that the two are operating independently until an action is taken on the part or the user; for instance if the user uses the widget to log out and then back in again then WP/SP and the membership plugin all agree and all is well.
Of course this is not ideal and I get grumbled at.
So does anyone have a solution? Also is there anyway of making the WP login persistence quite long?

I guess I am tempted to ask firstly if anyone has actually talked to the eMember developers about this.
But another question would be is the eMember login handled via an AJAX call? In other workds when a user logs in or out using your eMember plugin does it then cause a page to load or not? Becauae of this is an AJAX call then it would not update login status on the currently displayed page of either WP or SP.
