This shouldn't come as a surprise at this point, but our mentions plugin doesn't appear to be working correctly. Could be tied to the same things causing problems for our other features, but I figured I'd make this thread on the off chance there was a simple fix for it.

in order for fix, would have to know the problem... there are not any currently known issues with mentions...
you are getting numerous js errors on page loads...
If I was a betting man, I would say its your arrow chat thingy you run... its loading its own version of jquery and jquery ui.. since WordPress loads its own versions of jquery and jquery ui, they are likely conflicting with each other...
additionally, the arrow chat is loading very, very old version of both... jquery v1.7.1 vs wp (which runs latest release) 1.11.3... jquery ui v1.8.23 vs wp (again which runs latest release) 1.11.4...
so your arrow chat runs obsolete versions of jquery and jquery ui which are conflicting with the up to date versions that wp runs...

Well dammit. Is there any way to make them stop conflicting? Arrowchat is a pretty core feature of our community, there has to be a way to make them play nice. Perhaps just get them to just use the same jquery version?

Unfortunately it's how Arrowchat runs by the look of it, and as it's Arrowchat which seems to be causing the conflict it would be down to them to update things. I think your best bet would be to reach out to them directly and explain the situation, see what they come back with maybe?

does arrow chat have options to not load its own, old jquery and jquery ui? if not, perhaps check the code an remove? just use the current versions provided by wp?
