Is there a way for admins or moderators to merge concurrent posts from same user into one post?  I need to merge posts within a time limit if a member makes multiple replies in a row. This keeps all their replies in one post.

No, afraid there is no auto way to merge two posts... you can merge topics or move posts between topics, but if you will have to edit one of the posts, copy the content and then edit the other post and merge the content...

frankly, this is the first time anyone has asked to merge posts that I can remember... ;)

unfortunately, it was a request from the move off of ip.board.  It is something they offer as part of their system.  Not sure why you would want it but I guess it is used.
