Hi guys!

I have the simple press plugin.

I want to move my forum to a new site. Is there a way to migrate it and keep all the threads, usernames, etc?

Basically you need to take all of the forum database tables (those starting 'sf') AND you will also need the WordPress 'users' and 'usermeta' tables as well. Export those and imporet int the new location database.

After that on the new location you will need to create a page for the forum to use and attach it to be used by the forum and thwn yoy wukl will need to check through all of the forum optionds as some may be not quote right afyer the ,ove. Just a few minutes tp sort out.

The main problem is that any internal URL's in posts etc., may now be incorrect of course, unless they are relative.
