Support Forum
Just upgraded to 5.0.4
However, Themes and Plugins options/menus are missing from the forum admin panel. I do have the folders listed under the sp-resources folder, and have also uploaded several plugins (via FTP), yet no options are available.
I am getting these errors in the log:
file: /simple-press/sp-api/sp-api-plugins.php
line: 80
function: Unavailable
Warning | closedir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource
file: /simple-press/admin/library/spa-support.php
line: 201
function: Unavailable
Warning | opendir(/wp-content/plugins/simple-forum/styles/icons/default/custom//) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory
file: /simple-press/admin/library/spa-support.php
line: 201
function: Unavailable
Warning | opendir(/wp-content/plugins/simple-forum/styles/icons/default/custom//) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory
Not sure where to change the custom icon directory to. Also, not sure how to address the first error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
upgraded from which version? pre 5.0?
do you have ssh access to your server? please check the permissions and ownership of the wp-content/sp-resources directory... on some server setups, it is not created correctly though 5.0.3 had an attempt a fix for those odd setups...
would be good to compare the permissions and owners to the wp-content folder itself...

so what is the ownership? namely looking for the uid and gid... from your first message, appears not accessible by web user...

btw, for those last two notices, I would suggest going to forum - integration - storage locations and correcting the custom icons to sp-resources/forum-custom-icons... its the one location we could not automatically update...
on that same panel, do the forum plugins and forum themes show valid?
when you ftp'ed the plugins up, you did upload the directory and all the files, right? not the zip... so under forum-plugins you would have private-messaging dir, a admin-bar dir, etc for whatever plugins you had...
the ownership looks good which is odd because the first notice is saying the directory is not accessible...

I did upload the directory and all the files - not the zip.
It appears sp-resources/forum-custom-icons does not exist on my server.
Plugins and Themes show valid. So, yes, I do have valid directories for the plugins I've uploaded to sp-resources/forum-plugins. I also have a sp-resources/forum-language directory with empty simple-press, sp-plugins and sp-themes sub-dirs.
if you are not using custom icons, really doesnt matter... or just create one and set the storage so you dont get the invalid notice...
wait... do you actually see the plugins and themes admin panel? and its just empty? or do you not see the panels in the menu?
