Support Forum
A lot of the user of my site are mobile user. I even use a mobile site. But I have notice that the URL is still http://www.simplepress.com not http://www.m.simplepresss.com. I have notice that the mobile site is not optimized for mobile. Its just desktop with different agent. Is there a way to change it to a optimize mobile site so you don't have resize the page every time?
All that is actually needed here is an SP theme optimised for mobile use. A couple of our users have stated that they are planning to make one but we have not heard of any actually coming to fruition yet. It is certainly on our list and hopefully only a matter of time.

yeah, having a different site for mobile is considered bad these days by the ivory tower folks... its all about responsive design...

If anyone out there wants to take on a tapatalk bridge plugin then we will do our best to advise and support the effort but I doubt we will do this. Creating a decent mobile targeted theme is a lot quicker, simpler, more reliable and comes with a much lower learning curve.

Hi there,
One of my users stated that, while viewing my forum on his mobile device, images are coming out distorted. I looked into the possibility of adding mobile support via Themes > Mobile Themes. After I clicked on the, "Enable Mobile Theme Support" and clicked update, I got the following error prompt:
"An error occurred while activating the mobile theme!"
I currently use the following theme: Default 1.0.15
Any ideas why I received that error?
Thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to hearing from you.
there are two buttons on that panel... are you sure you saved the enable before trying to select a theme to be the mobile one?
