Hi,

I am not sure that I am doing this correctly but I end up getting a page error every time I try to give someone a Moderator access. Could you walk me through the steps on how to do it so I know that something isn't wrong with my forum?

Also, how do I make my forum's font size larger?

Thank you so much for your help. =)

With sincerest regards,

Sharon

You should be able to go to Simple:Press admin > Manage User Groups and then under the Default Usergroup for moderators of the forum click on add members and select a member of another group and add them to it.

That is assuming you have a moderator group already in place. If not then you would need to create one. Is this what you are trying to do or are you getting the error elsewhere?

Regarding the font size there is a default size set in your SP theme that you can change. If you are using one of the supplied themes with an overlay file you could change the $mainFontSize entry, in your overlay file, from 100% to a larger value (try 105%) and then go up/down from there.

If you are using the CSS-Only theme then you would change it in the css-only.css file.

If you are running one of the supplied themes keep in mind that any updates that come out will overwrite any changes you make so it is a good idea to create your own custom theme.

Thank you so much for your help! The first piece of advice worked. Well the second...I'm not sure how to find it. I am working with Elegant Themes.

Thank you again. =)

the second?  do  you mean about editing your sp theme?  has nothing to do with your wp theme...

Brandon was suggesting that you would edit your sp theme to increase the font size...  the link he gave you was for creating your own sp theme (from one of ours) so you dont lose any changes when you upgrade the SP theme...

so start with making sure you have your own theme...

when done, then edit either the overlay your are using (if it has one) or the main theme css file if no overlay...  if that's confusing, get your own theme set up and then come on back and we can help more with the edits...
