Maybe I’m missing something somewhere.
I have a few moderators, I’d like them to be able to move a user to a different group (or add them to a new group) but while I’ve set the appropriate permissions for those moderators they can’t edit a person’s profile (where they can add them to groups) from the front end, the only way they would be able to do it is via the WP dashboard which I don’t want them poking around in.
When I click on a profile from the front end of the forums I get an “edit user profile” link however my mods do not.
Options I have selected in the admin settings for my moderators are:
- Manage Permissons
- Manage Profiles
- Manage Users
- Manage User Groups
Also another issue related to this. I have 3 moderators (4 including myself). when I try and set options under Admins in the dashboard none of the options for the 3rd moderator stick. I select the boxes, click the Update Admin Capabilities button and when the page refreshes after presumably saving the settings, the settings for that last person don’t stick.
