try writing a test wp blog post and schedule it to get published in 1 hour instead of immediately... and wait an hour or two and see if it shows up... will see if other cron jobs are running via wp cron...

I did try that and the article did not get published in time.
When I setup the post to be scheduled, cron GUI (Wordpress plugin) reported:

The publish time was missed and I am getting "Missed schedule" in date column of my Wordpress post list.
Looks like my WP cron has serious problems, I'll check in that direction.

hey, take a quick look in your wp-config.php file and make sure you havent defined
DISABLE_WP_CRON
as true...

This constant is not defined in my wp-config.php.
