The mouse over pop-up is gone and the text appear to the very left of the forum. Please visit http://friskyttarna.eu/forum/ and mouseover some of the forum topics.

Hey Meztli,

Doesn't look like you have updated your custom theme with the latest tooltip CSS.

See the Latest News and Developments article. In these release posts when updating to a new version you will normally find (minor) CSS changes for custom themes. In this case Theme and Template 5.5.3 changes.

Might be worth looking at making your theme a Child Theme in the future. It would only contain your style changes and literally nothing else, using one of the stock themes as a parent which will be updated through the update process, i.e you wouldn't have to add CSS changes when updating wink

Hi Ike,

Thanks for the swift reply, much appricated.

You are right, totaly missed to update the custom theme. However a child theme seem to be a better option for me. Just a couple of questions regarding the child theme:

  • Can i rename the child theme file whatever i want or should it still be named "spTheme" ?
  • I supose i add the child theme to it´s own folder just like custom themes?

a resource on child themes:  https://simple-press.com/simpl.....ld-themes/

changing really depends on how many changes you made to your custom theme...  you will have to make similar changes to your child theme...  but if all your changes are css, then it makes sense so you keep getting updates to the parent...

I was to quick wishing you a merry christmas. Still need your help smile

Cant figure out how to get swedish back as language, since it's back to english with the child theme activated (or maybe with the WP/SP update).

I did not make any changes to the wp-config.php so it´s still edited to show swedish.

Thanks!

It's empty and says:

Your server will not allow us to download the language files from Simple:Press

well, if you have really restrictive permissions on the server, you will have to do it the old fashioned way - manually... ;)
