Is there a way to cross reference or to check if members made more then 1 account with different screen names ?

registrations are handled by wp...  by default wp only checks that the mail is unique...  how would you identify multiple accounts as being by same person???

if you are worried about registrations, there are plugins for wp that allow you to moderate and approve registrations...
