I used to be able to use the toolbox on all posts and edit..pin them and so forth..now that option is gone for me and the other admins on my site http://www.saskmilitia.com.  Any suggestions?

Hey,

I am seeing a js error which might be the problem:

TypeError: jQuery(...).msDropDown is not a function

It is possible that a plugin is causing this conflict by loading its own jquery, and it's possible that it's an old version being loaded, however that's just a guess.

Do you remember when this started happening? Had you started using anything new around that time?

you cannot reinstall simple press without losing your data... as reinstall implies, it starting over from scratch...

what version of wp and sp?

when you say deactivated plugins, did you mean wp plugins or other sp plugins?

have you tried with all wp plugins disabled and using the default wp theme?

Don't want to have you running around in circles here, but was that a 'yes' to 'have you tried with all wp plugins disabled and using the default wp theme?' - the default WP theme is what I would have suspected would resolve it, but if you have already tried this then we can at least rule it out.

Also, are all plugins up to date? SP and WP?

Also, I'm now getting a different error - 'TypeError: jQuery(...).msDropDown is not a function'

This points to Jquery.easing.1.3.js

My guess is - and it is only a guess bit fits all of the evidence - that you have updated WordPress to version 4.0 but some of the JavaScript files supplied and loaded by your WordPress theme have not been updated to work with WP 4.0. This would suggest that files like the jquery.easing script - supplied and loaded by your theme - are no longer compatible with the core jQuery scripts supplied with WordPress.

So your first port of call should really be to see if there is a theme update available for you and of not - to ask the theme authors when they will be updating things so they continue to work.
