The only option there is the permalink structure.

I set to default then back again and saved but no joy unfortunately.

will this be a live production site or a test setup?  just tells me how crazy to get! ;) cool

thanks... see if I can figure anything out...

if you could add in a temp account to the site that has wp admin (for the network site) and sp admin caps (forum - admin - manage admins) that would help too...

okay, you are all set...  wp ms, sp and domain mapping do all play together nicely...  updating here for others...

the issue was in your setup...

1) the domain mapping plugin was not installed correctly

2) the ms domain setting should point to the mapped domain not the original

3) be careful with usage or www and not... they are two different cookie domains (ie logins) and wp ms doesnt really like www in the domain either...

let me know if you have any other issues...

RESOLVED

Thank you very much Mr Papa.

We can now see that Simple:press does integrate well with the Domain Mapping plugin for Multisite.

Thanks once again.
