My WP theme footer - conflict with S:P

Well to be honest I am stumped.
The body background graphic is defined as it should be and is loaded as it should be and as far as I can see there is nothing overriding it. SP creates NO 'body' CSS. In fact it creates no CSS outside of the #spMainContainer div so I am most puzzled.
Have you considered asking the theme author if they have any ideas?
