I'm pulling my hair out after an hour of trying to format a simple copied blog entry with nothing but text.
Here is the original:
http://busterjohnson.com/press.....mment-2189
I copied, pasted and it looked PERFECT.
Then I changed some of the text color to BLUE.
Lost some of the paragraphs.
Went to source, deleted some divs.
No luck.
Recopied the first half of the letter that was messed up. Looked GREAT.
But, it took the paragraphs out of the 2nd half of the letter.
I can hit ENTER while editing until I'm blue in the face, can't get the paragraphs to show up. Instead I get [sigh, nothing works today, it got deleted here, some header stuff]
Countless times I've removed it.
Where does that come from? Why do does </p> change to some header code?
--- I'm using the same editor you have here, no customization.
its probably because when you copy it from that site, its grabbing a whole bunch of markup (ie html)...
best thing to do when you copy the text, is paste it into a plain text editor (ie notepad) or if you paste into our editor, paste as plain text, so that all markup is removed that may have been accidentally copied and may have even been partial or invalid so tinymce tried to auto correct it..
then when you save, you should get what you want... and can edit away...
