i am up and running.

i took a basic theme and modded the style.css

last question...how would i hide the email address when someone clicks on someones profile?

The email address can be hidden and the easiest way is to download the profile display control SP plugin. But - it is worth noting that as long as you have the permission to view users emails turned off (permissions sets) then the only person who can actually see this are forum admins.

ok that makes sense. Another question... I was chainging usernames in wordpress and changing admins in SP but the display name is not reflecting my changes...I still see the wrong username listed as admin at the bottom of forum. is there a cache tool or something?

figured it out...deactivate and reactivate the pluggin

It is cached and should actually - all being well - refresh to whatever period you have set in your options - default being I think, once an hour.
