I'm back again. One of my moderators (who is using IE9) says the "Unread Posts" buttons are no longer functional for her since the last forum software upgrade. Nothing shows up ("0" count on the buttons), so she doesn't see when posts need moderation. However, if she happens to go into a forum where a post is awaiting moderation, she can see the red button alerting her to approve the post.

I haven't changed anything on the back end--still have Admin Toolbag enabled, and it's working for me in Safari and Chrome. Any ideas?

Also, I tried the integrated toolbar and didn't like it, so we're back with the TinyMCE editor, and three ladies still can't get the image uploader to work correctly. One can post image URLs from other hosts like PhotoBucket, but the image uploader doesn't work:

I tried to upload a photo in this reply; but couldn't.  It shows me "select files" and says to add files; but no files ever appear to be chosen from.

The other can't even get PhotoBucket links to work right:

I went back to the thread with Olivia's birthday dress in it and played some more.  It's still not working properly.

The HTML code, HTML Thumb and IMG links will not work in the photo icon.

Using the IMG I can directly load into this post, but then when you click on it to enlarge it, it will not enlarge.  Before the software update, it would enlarge, now it will not…..but this was going back a week or so ago.  I'm not sure what day you had the update to the photo software….I just know that since my last photo posting, things changed. 

Geneece is loading her photos onto her site, and she's able to direct link into her post, without using the icon and I can enlarge those photos, but apparently she is unable to use the icon to embed the photo.

Can you assist?

I'm having my moderator take screen shots so you can see what she sees, but her Admin Toolbar buttons don't show any new posts at all, even if she refreshes the page or logs in from scratch.

The gals who can't get the image uploader to work explained what happens already. I posted it in my first post, but here you go again:

When they try to upload images directly and click "select files," no box appears that allows them to choose a file to upload. One is getting around this by uploading to her own server and posting image URLs instead of uploading images, but the other can't get PhotoBucket uploads to show properly. The thumbnails are there, but she can't click them to see full-sized images (though other users on different browsers can, oddly enough).

Okay, first off, the unread posts bug is now happening to me with Safari. I tried uploading a screenshot, but the browser crashed when I did so (even with a tiny file), so I've put it on my own site at http://sensibility.com/wp-cont.....dposts.jpg. (If that doesn't work, click THIS LINK for the JPEG.) As you'll see, the Admin Toolbar buttons say there are no posts. If I click the first button the far left, the message opens up in the center: "There are no unread posts." But if you look over to the right, the forum says "5 topics with unread posts." This is how my other moderator is realizing there are unread posts, as her Toolbar buttons never show any unread posts. Mine have been showing unread posts consistently (and I only use Safari on my Mac) until today. ???

Next, we do have the pluploader add-on. The gals who are having difficulty uploading images are using IE and Firefox. One gal with Firefox decided to try uploading from her desktop (with an older version of FF) and found it worked fine. Now she's wondering if it's the newer version of FF on the laptop that is causing the trouble.

The user who can't upload at all but is using Photobucket says this:

OK, from the 'preview' of the post, the image icon will not embed the photo.  If i use the IMG code from PhotoBucket, I can directly past the image into the post. Once published, the photo does not enlarge properly, but when I am in 'preview' of the post, it enlarges.  

Any ideas for me?
