I explained in post #5 how to handle custom icons... each group/forum allows you to define custom icons... but you must, of course, supply these icons... each theme comes with default icons, but you can use your own...

Hi.. So those icons on the them for this forum are "Custom" ones that Simple Press procured and installed right? That was my question originally asked about the them you uses and icons that show in the add for the theme as if they are INCLUDED with the theme -that is misleading if they are not which you appear to confirm?
Thanks,
Brian
I am not really sure what you mean - and am particularly not sure what is misleading,
There is a complete set of icons that come with every theme. I assume you have these and they show up.
You can change any icon simply by replacing it.
As to the specific icons for individual forum groups and forums - these can be added top the forum as you please. The ones we use here I made myself. These are created to be extremely specific to our own forum needs so if you think you have been 'mislead' over these then I really don't understand the objection. These are customised for specific uses.
Many, many of our users create custom icons for their forums and, indeed, we have also created icon sets for some users at their request. How could we possibly pre-supply any but default ones? It would be senseless.

Hi,
I have spent 30+ minutes trying to understand where to update my entire forum so that the First Post has to be moderated by me. In plain English, can you please show me where this setting needs to be changed?
I would appreciate where the actual setting needs to be clicked as I can not find anywhere where is says True/False to be changed and from the directions, it's not clear.
Regards,
BST
Firstly, the permission set must exist. Go to Forum - Permissions > Manage Permission Sets and either edit one to use for this purpose or create one specially.. You basically need a permission set that has every permission in the 'Moderation' box UN-checked.
If assigning it to an entire forum group, go to Forum > Manage Groups and Forums, find your forum group and click the 'Add Permission' button. Pick your usergroup and pick your permission.
If you have more than one usergroup you want to use the same permission then repeat the process.
If you want to assign it to an individual forum instead of the entire group then you can do that the same way.
It really is worth reading the Codex FAQ's, getting started guide, pages on permissions, usergroups and the rest. All the information you need is there. And of course if you ever get stuck looking at a panel in the forum admin be sure to click the 'Help' popup to find out what it does.
Hope that's what you wanted to know!
Themes
The theme we use here is called ‘Reboot’ and is one of our premium and fully responsive (mobile) themes. We use the ‘Orange’ overlay bit there are several others. Icons are supplied but – as stated above – you are free to change all of any of them as you prefer.
I asked the question about the use of this Theme, you said Orange Reboot Mobile version, I asked about your Icon's, you said they are supplied. However, when I switched to this custom theme, these icons that you have are not included. Please clarify. Also, who can do some customization if desired? Recommendations?
Best!

Thanks Ike.. The email response you gave me and where to do is where I was, but... the section in the FAQ has you looking for a TRUE value and False value which is misleading. You said look for Moderator's section that's what is should say there rather thank to look for the T/F values.
Let me know if you know a SP forum designer?
Kindest Regards Ike!
