just committed some fixes that should handle the -1 post counts again...

no worries. I just missed the part about it being the members list... the post count is also displayed in the profile and stats area... which incidentally had the same issue... we totally lost our 4.4.5 fixes...

I updated my SVN to build 7113, and the good news is that the -1 post count on the front is fixed.
The bad news is that before the upgrade, I setup Janrain and activated the Janrain plugin. After deleting the SPF files on the server and FTP'ing the new files, I got the 'perform upgrade' message. All ok to that point. Next, I saw some ajax error message, and ended at a screen as if I were not logged in (when I was). I got back to where I was, and tried the same process again, with no different result. Somewhere along there I ended up on the front end with a link to upgrade the forum. Then, when prompted to login again, I reentered my credentials and was taken to the forum menu as if the upgrade had been processed successfully. Now, the toolbox shows I am at 7113, and I can access the forum as before.
Since previous upgrades went so smoothly, I wasn't paying close attention to the error I encountered. Sorry that I can't provide more coherent info.
Also, I'm not sure if it is premature to comment on the Help bubbles, but here goes: the help on Components->Login and Registration->Member Login refers to "Skin Login Forms" which doesn't exist as a setting.
janrain plugin??? that is built in to sp and you will have issues if you try to use the rpx/janrain for wp plugin and the rpx/janrain features of sp...
the admin popup help is in a bit of disarray while we figure out what to do with it... It may be going away in favor of another option... or get updated... but will resolve soon...

Yes, the Janrain plugin for WP. You say "have some issues" - can you elaborate? In my very limited testing, it seemed to work ok with SPF.
Any idea what could have caused the glitches on upgrade?
Also, on upgrade I notice there are 2 buttons where the 2nd upgrades the network. What does upgrade the network do - look for every site in a multisite install and update the tables? I recall seeing something in Trac about this functionality on very, very large networks when updating WP itself, and how some simple modifications can turn a process that could take 12 hours + to run into one that would run in several hours. If you're not familiar with it, I can try to dig it up.
yes, network upgrade will try to update all the sp installs on the network sites... and yes, familiar with the trac ticket you refer too...
sorry, not sure I follow you upgrade glitches... depending on when you ftp'ed your svn files vs the upgrade check on the built in updater maybe confusion there? just not sure...
I have never used the wp rpx plugin, but it basically does the same thing our rpx stuff does... so certainly seems like two things trying to work on the same thing can be a problem...
but more importantly, we have had maybe half dozen or dozen users report issues with the two running together... all was fine when they disabled the wp one... of course, we probably dont hear from those that might be using them successful... we only tend to hear about problems...

On the upgrade, I will watch more carefully to see how the next upgrade goes.
On the 2 things doing the same thing, for those who observed problems, maybe they didn't enqueue Janrain's script when SPF already had it loaded? Janrain's docs don't really spell that out, at least on the surface, from what I've seen. However, I do notice this with SPF...
On my sort-of live test site, with the Janrain WP plugin activated, I get the 1 line of social sign in icons if not logged in. It appears just above the search. For SPF settings, on Components->Login and Registration, I have the Use inline login form unchecked. Is that 1 line the inline login form? (If it is not, what does that setting do?) Is that SPF theme dependent? The 1 line of social sign ins is kind of flakey on the tests I have done, where it works for some providers, not others. However, with RPX enabled in SPF and the Janrain WP plugin activated, the regular login using a social network works just fine.
Finally, there's a logout redirect setting for SPF, which works. But I notice that setting applies to all of WP. Shouldn't a user logging out of the forum return to the forum, but a user logging out of a regular blog post return somewhere else?
re logging out... if you are using the logout redirect, as you have noticed, it redirects for all logouts... thats what all the original requests were for... the vast majority of users of simple press dont have users who log in except for the forums...
what I can do is add a filter to the logout redirect so it can be overridden if desired...
