Hey - All new to Simple:Press, and allready in need of help ; )
When new users register to my forum (http://www.guldgravning.dk/forum/) they get no registration email, and cant log in ... any Ideas why ?

WP handles all registration and logins... and WP sends the emails... the wp forums are strewn with email issues, particularly if you are on shared hosting as many of them dont like how WP sends emails (by default will be from wordpress@yoursite.com... if you dont have an email address created on your site of wordpress@yoursite.com, they may inhibit sending the email for spam concern... installing an smtp plugin for WP can overcome some of this... we would recommend HGK SMTP...
what do you mean they cannot login? what happens? have you looked in your wp admin and verified that wp actually created a user account?
are you running any special wp plugins for users, registrations or memberships?

SP does not send any emails... its all WP... we can set it up to allow you to change the FROM and tweaks... but it does not affect the sending at all...
perhaps post an image of the settings you had used...

Thx a mill - Mr Papa - I'm sure you are right - I have not setup a wordpress@guldgravning.dk mail - I'll do that, and also try out the HGK SMTP plugin.
About login - wp did create the users, but as no mail went out, they did not get a password, hence they cant login ; )
No special user plugins installed.
I'll try out your tips from above, and post back after : )
