Hi guys,
This has been happening for some time and is a real bugbear for forumites.
Topics with unread posts are highlighted in blue on the dropdown list. Pick one, go and read the new posts, even make a new post. Then click on the dropdown again and the topic still shows in blue.
This behaviour is not consistent 100% of the time but it appears that it does occur far more often than it does not.

Is this happening to your users - confirmed?
Or is this happening to you as the forum admin? And if you - do you use the Admin Bar SP plugin?

1) I do not use the Admin Bar SP Plugin
2) It is happening to both users (100% confirmed) and me as Admin
3) It is browser independent
** Now I am unable to recreate it as Admin. Let me poll the users. It was our Mod who complained of it again yesterday **

The circumstances that this happens under would be useful to know. I certainly do not see this happening here and we have no other reports of errant behaviour.
You do need to remember that the list is personalised to the user viewing the forum. hence my questions...
