Well I'm running a Single Sign on setup now and managed to configure a page. http://eeesafe.com/sign-up/

I'm able then to Map the User Role to the defined permissions in the Forum.  Lets hope it actually works as I've not yet gone about informing too many people about this yet.  I'm experimenting before more marketing next year.
