need a little more help... where is the forum on your site? the only link to forums leads to bbpress...

the new link via pm seems to work... however, we cannot view the forum... please set us up a temp account and pm the details so we can access it... we have a policy of not registering on sites from a history of getting spammed doing that... and if you create the temp account, you can remove it when done... please be sure it is going to Ike and myself... I will have limited access to the forum for the next couple days...

got it... If Ike can look this afternoon, great...otherwise, I will try (no promises) to look from hotel when I get there... otherwise will be tomorrow night..
one thing you could try, with the other wp search plugin disabled, go to forum - integration - page and permalink, and try resetting the forum permalink... then try again...
possible the other plugin has a greedy rewrite rule that needs to be flushed (updating ours will do that) after being deactivated...

was able to take a look tonight... quite odd... something is interfering with the wp page template process... its not recognizing the search results page as a forum page... hence the wp 404 page display... being in a hotel, I dont have all my dev tools I do at home... will need to look at the various http requests and see what is going on... is it a redirection? or just a rewrite rule issue? but may not be able to know that without a lot more digging internal to the site and wp internals...
but a few questions...
are you running any caching plugins or redirection plugins?
any special rules in the .htaccess file?
is that wp search plugin active or deactivated now?
separate issue... have you looked at your site on a mobile display?? The theme is not working right... either the js or css cache is stale (doubt it) or still have a permission issue on your server and cannot php parse css files... is that unified for tablets you have set up? what theme are you running for desktops?

Solved!
disabled bbPress and everything appears to be working.
thanks for your mobile feedback. not a mobile user and this is the first we've heard this. we are using Elegant Themes, Nexus theme. We need to update it so maybe that is the issue. can we ask you to check it out again after we update it?
glad to hear on search! no, I mean the SP theme, not wp...
