Yes it all seems to work ok.
One thing only, some days ago, but I am not sure if this glitch was still there, I put some code to show ads in both the mobile and desktop php files of the reboot theme, following your guidelines here: https://simple-press.com/docum.....the-forum/
Could that have caused this issue? The ads show perfectly so I cannot see the connection between the two things...

I can't see any way that would have an impact on the translations panel. I think the only problem you could encounter there would be messing up something in the template which obviously hasn't happened.

ok, I was just trying to mention anything I could think of. In the meantime I also updated to WP 4.3.1 so there's not much I can do anymore, we'll leave it until Andy comes back!

I am seeng this too. There appears to be a communication problem with the server data. I think actually this might be in WordPress core code but I am investigating... will be back when I know anything,

ohh I read first the other answer and tbh I didn't really understand what you were talking about 😀 Anyway, it has been like this for a while now, as you can check from the date of this post. It doesn't really matter as everything is in the correct language. But if I go to change some translation then I will be in trouble as I cannot reload it... Will keep an eye on this post, thanks!

It has come about because of a change to our master XML file that I did not know about. Our apologies. The problem is fixed.
I can give you the code changes if you like but we will be releasing an update next week when WP releases their update...
