I am having a serious issue on my forum right now. It is happening to all users.

Nobody can post by default - when they click to post, the entry field is a big grey box with no interactivity possibilities.

After some testing I attributed the bug to the “Rich text – TinyMCE” editor. Fortunately, I was able to come up with the following workaround:

It's a lot of work to try to tell tens of thousands of forum users this though. Can you please help me solve the problem? Thanks!

Is this following the updates to WP 3.9 and SP 5.4.2? and if so have you updated ALL plugins?

If this is the case then there are several threads on the forums here and so far all the problems can be traced to other plugins that require but have not yet been updated to work with WP 3.9. There appear to be problems with wp-polls, possibly cForms and Lightbox and there will be others.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, this was due to the Wordpress update. I updated all main Wordpress plugins and that didn't help, but when I updated the SP plugins, I noticed that I have the richtext one included and I think the new version fixed the issue.

All is working now!

Ah yes. WordPress updated the editor to version 4 so you do need everything for it to work properly.
