When I click on the forum links, it gives "Not found" error even though the URL is correct. This problem has been occuring quite frequently since yesterday. Sometime this error gets displayed while after sometime, the forum gets displayed properly. Don't know what is happening. Need your help guys!
Also I know about 404 which is page not found error but what kind of error is this "Not found" ?

This is a pretty standard WP theme 404 template so this is indeed just a 404 event.
First question always has to be - if SP WAS working OK and now doesn't then what has changed? Something is clearly redirecting the urls.
Well, I am clueless. The last time I installed a new plugin was almost 2 weeks back "All in one SEO" and "Bad Behavior". But if it is URL redirection , isn't it strange that it doesn't happen all the time. Sometime it throws that error and other times it doesn't.
Also can it be because I haven't updated my theme. I am using a child theme by the name mytheme.css . Do I need to make any updates in it because I see that the themes default and css only have had some updates lately.
No the theme plays no part in this.
And of course usually with any 404 it is consistent and predictable and can be traced back to a cause. Intermittent 404's are more worrisome.
I think we need to ask you first to try and discern if there is any pattern - i.e., is it the same forum/topic or is it truly random?
But one thing I would try would be flushing the Wp rewrite rules. Go to the wp admin > Settings > Permalinks and click on the update button. Then do the same on the SP admin > Integration > Page and permalinks panel. The first should rebuild your .htaccess file so if anything spurious has got in there it should get removed. The second will simply re-establish the SP additional rules.

Thanks. Did that. What I don't understand though is that how will just saving the permalinks will help without even making any changes.
Also what I have seen is that usually a logged on user doesn't see this problem. I have saved the pages you mentioned and am still getting the error when i click on the forum links as an anonymous visitor(not logged on). However, it maybe because an anonymous user sees the cached version. Just a guess though.
Saving them refreshes the ,htaccess file.
Ok so this is a different issue than we thought originally. IS that right>?Are you saying now that it is fine when you are logged in? All the time? And when not logged in it is not? All the time? Random? And if random - again is it specific pages, any pattern to it or truly random?
