has the user removed the notice?  and it keeps coming back?  if so, not sure how since it requires a post to go into moderation…  in db, anything in sfwaiting db?  ie any rows?

I approved the post.  It doesn’t reappear on the same post, but reappears each time he posts something new.

now confused. if you approved the post, then it needed moderation. when he makes a post, if moderation needed, the notice is generated…

perhaps you can explain further since the post needing moderation seems to conflict with your earlier statement about all moderation off… maybe its just late for me…

You’ve hit the problem squarely and with the same confusion I’m feeling.  All moderation is turned off, yet most of his posts require moderation.  I can’t see any reason that moderation is triggered, yet it is.

Do you think it would help if we delete his account and create a new one?  That doesn’t solve the reason it’s happening to start with.  As far as I know, he is the only person who is having the issue.

Are you using the Simple:Press ‘Admin Bar’ plugin? If so – and when this user makes a post – which box at the top does it show up in? Just wondering if, in fact, they are getting marked as a spam user by Akismet…

I am using the Admin Toolbar.  I just disabled Akismet to see if that makes a difference.

That might be the issue if you have not noticed that it is marked as a spam post. We use the bar here and despite only allowing registered users to post we still get the odd user who is consistently marked as a spam user by Akismet – in this case I believe not so much their post content but they themselves – probably their email address.

Come on back if this is not the issue of course.
