Yeah, I didn’t see the announcement (didn’t hit me in the face) and forgot it was a 4 day holiday weekend. My bad.

EDIT: I just saw someone logged in and was just about to change the passwords and check everything when I realised it was one of you guys 😛

Okay, I believe I understand why this is happening… At least its true for every post I looked at where the user name was missing…

For each of these topics, the option to ‘hide the poster’ is enabled… so the name of the poster is not shown…

I do not know if you intentionally did this or by accident, but if you view the post (or topic) where that is occurring and use the forum toolset, you can disable the ‘hide poster’ option…  or if not really using the hide poster functionality, just disable the plugin all together…

I suspect when the post was created, the option (which is displayed in the options area of the editor) was inadvertently checked…

Ahh, the “Enable hide poster info by default on new topic form (if enabled in forum)” was checked which was making all admin posts turn out like it >_<

yes…. exactly…  you can of course,  disable it for the forum… or when posting, dont check the hide poster option…
