The other buttons, Members, Invoice, Profiles are all working correctly.

I'm sorry but I don't understand. Are you saying that the above code is printed on the actual buttons?

The buttons display correctly, but when hovered over or clicked, the messages appear on the status bar.

You should jusy see 'javascript:void(null)' so that sounds like the generated source code is being corrupted. Are you by any chance using the Google Analytics WP plugin?

I did. Just deactivated it and all is working again. Is there a work-around?
I didn't realize it at the time, but the Log-in button was also affected.

Oh dear - I am struggling to remember. it is one of the options in the GA plugin - something to do with urls. It is buggy and changes double quote marks to a single quote mark in post urls but only at one end so things go awry.
It is - as I say - one of the optional settings. I will try and find the reference to it...
