I've just installed Simple:Press on a WP site running the 'Hornet' theme.
I installed the dummy data to get me started. All looks basically fine but the page keeps going blank as soon as I hover over links on the main forum panel.
Hovering over the 'My first forum group' is fine, but hovering over 'My first forum' causes the page to instantly go blank.
This also happens hovering over the link for 'A sub-forum' and 'My first topic'. All as shown on screengrab. The site is in build so not publicly accessible.
This happens irrespective of what Simple:Press theme I activate.
Does anyone recognise this issue and might be able to help with any suggestions?

Not familiar at all but... it sounds like you may have a conflict with tooltips. We have come across some themes and/or plugins that load a tooltip script that sometimes seems to clash with the standard jQuery script we use.
You can test this easily enough.
Go to the forum admin > themes > Theme Editor. Locate the file in the list 'spFunctions.php' and load it. At the top of the file you will see a section relating to tooltips where you can change the truye to false. Do that and update the file.
Go to the forum admin > toolbox > housekeeping and run the option to clear the CSS cache. After that also clear your browser cache. See if that solves the problem.
