Well Ike is 100% correct in his assessment so I would suggest that either your browser cache is kicking in and needs emptying - or - if you are using the internal SP theme cache you may want to go to the forum toolbox > housekeeping and reset the CSS cache. Possibly 150px is not enough although I suspect it is...

Not working for me.  Cleared all cache and still nothing.  Used another computer which had never accessed the site before, same thing. Doesn't mater if I do 150px or 300px, it is in the same position behind the header.

You edited the 'Unified' theme but your desktop is not actually using 'Unified' - it is using 'Default'. The 'Default' is a little different - you need to edit this set of rules:

/* ---------------------
Success/Failure Messages
------------------------*/
#spMainContainer .spMessageSuccess,
#spMainContainer .spMessageFailure,
.spMessageSuccess,
.spMessageFailure {
    display: none;
    z-index: 9999999;
    margin: 1em auto 0 auto;
    font-family: <?php echo($headingFontFamily); ?>;
    font-weight: <?php echo($headingFontWeight); ?>;
    font-size: <?php echo($spMessageSuccessFailure); ?>;
    vertical-align: middle;
    padding: 10px 20px;
    height: auto;
    width: auto;
    position: fixed;
    top: 20px;
    text-align: center;
    <?php echo($largeRadius); ?>
}

The 'top' - as you can see - is set to 20px. I have checked this on yoiur site and changing this value does indeed move it down.

I knew that!  No, not really.  Thanks so much.  It actually worked.  Go figure!
